Short of being a resort and yet a hotel slightly far from town, the only comfort that the hotel provides is free shuttle services and an extremely friendly and bilingual service team who goes all out to help customers. If only facilities and amenities could be upgraded, I would have given it a 4 star rating.

This is easily one of the best hotel in Batam, the view is amazing! We are going to stay here again on Christmas and New year! But the breakfast is horrible, I am sorry but all the cakes are hard and cold. Maybe if there’s pancake made fresh and warm bread with cheese that will be wonderful. I don’t even see oranges offered, food are so little at a time so it always runs out. The taste of the food is also not on par with other similar hotel. It’s a shame because the decor and the hotel itself can easily be 5 stars! Marble side chair, balcony overlooking Batam. It is amazing view and stay overall.

The location is wonderful, The property is dilapidated and not maintained. Sofas have stains. Understand that it was a quarantine facility during COVID times and has not been upgraded since. The drinks menu in the bar is very limited, the live band though on a Saturday night was awesome, still the bar was deserted. It overseas the city and there is a nice balcony but not well kept. The noise from the traffic on the highway below and the mosque is very disturbing in the room. The staff though was pretty cordial. Limited vegetarian options in the menu.

View is good as long it is not facing the residential property which is 30m apart. Breakfast is OK. Room needs upgrade as it is old, dark and got some odor as well as the corridor. Floor dusty. Gym facilities and pool is ok , however the spa pool a bit dirty.

Crown Vista is on a hill side overlooking the City of Batam. It has a nice breeze current that sweeps up the hill making the climate very pleasant. The hotel has a clean large first class swimming pool and hotel provides regular daily free shuttles to two different large malls. Staff are very friendly professional and top notch. Can not say enough about the pleasant staff.

Pleasant stay staff were all very positive friendly and efficient.Used the large swimming pool daily. It was not busy clean and warm. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to two different malls. The Naygota Mall is bigger and much better with more choices for stores and restaurants. Mall meals are reasonable and varied. Both malls have large supermarkets that are very good for picking up soft drinks, fruit and snacks. Hotel drinks are over priced by several hundred per cent.

Nice get away

The hotel staff was nice and friendly. I was picked up from the ferry terminal by the hotel driver he was very friendly. Upon checkin the front desk staff was very friendly as well. The D-nest bar was good as well the food was good and they had a few craft beer that were nice as well. The band there was quite good as well.

On both nights of our stay, it was very noisy. We were in room 222, the receptionist informed us on our second night it’s because there’s a wedding and the ballroom is just above our room. After complaining about, the receptionist by the name of Windy did not bother offering to move us to another room despite my husband asking her to.

i checked in on the 22/12/18 and stayed till 24/12/18. During the 2 days of stay, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Firstly , I was greeted with a big surprise. The front office has upgraded me from a standard to Deluxe room. The room is not only neat and tidy,but what i like most is the huge balcony with chairs and tables. Facing the view, there's a huge screen. My son was happy to sip his drinks and enjoyed the viewing the screen. at that time, it was on football. Staff are friendly and I give credit to the front office manager, David. He replies promptly . Hotel has a free shuttle to BCS and Nagoya Hill to and fro. It has a spa, I did my facial, massage and eye treatment for Singapore 50. It is really good . I am sure, i will visit again and stay in the same hotel again.

Like the quiet ambience. Good get away from bustle of city. Windy n nice bird’s eye view at balcony to cityscape. Friendly n helpful staff Overall hotel seems clean well kept but wonder why the bath curtain is not changed when it’s stained with mold. Not an expensive item to change often.

Hotel on a hill top

Hotel is on top of a hill and to get to city area one must arrange for transport to get there. Suitable for guest who want to stay a bit further from the city. Getting the deluxe room will give you a good view. Some of the amenities could use some upgrading as it looks quite old. Nevertheless their staff made up for the amenities being old as they were very helpful and attentive. Kudos for always being so hospitable and always having a smile on their faces.

What you see is what you'll get.

I got the Deluxe Room for 2 pax, we even got the 1 for 1 Spa. Food was great and the romm great too. The view from the balcony was even greater.

Stay here if you prefer some quiteness

Stay a night in this hotel to attend a colleague wedding dinner. There's nothing around the hotel where you can shop. Shuttle service is available to nearby shopping mall but the frequency is low. I asked for an iron and board but they only have one and only one burnt out iron and board for me. I guessed they can't be bothered with it as majority of the guest are here for holiday. The hotel is running and been maintain on a minimal standard. But I must comment that the staffs are friendly and responsive. I emailed them very last minute to arrange a pick up and they responded almost immediately and got the arrangement done.
