Find the Best Basilicata Bed and Breakfast

Villa Ulivi is a brand new B & B set up in a beautiful rural area of Basilica. The hosts were extremely helpful despite our language differences and went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay in this wonderful new build villa which is no more than 200m from the SS648 and well positioned for either Potenza to the south or Melfi to the north.

The room is a small cottage shed in a private garden area a short walk from the main house Very peaceful and enjoyable if you like rustic and nature . There is no sea view from this room but short charming walk down to the sea from the house Very enjoyable stay and the owners son was very helpfull . Only one real eating option nearby ( fish only ) . so you may need a car to explore further

A very smart and well decorated apartment with 3 en suite bedrooms and a kitchen/diner set up like a cafe bar. We had 2 rooms, both excellent. Good air conditioning ensured a good night's sleep in very warm weather period - 35-38°c . Donna Gina was very friendly and looked after our every need, serving breakfast although self-service is possible. Multiple choices for breakfast and fresh, locally made croissants were brought in by Donna. Delicious!

Wow! Perfect location with an amazing viewpoint from the balcony if you are lucky to get the room that has it. Brilliant host. Couldn’t have been a better stay.

Very well located property. Easy walk to all the Matera sites Nice manager, Miriam, who was helpful, cooked breakfast and made sure everything worked OK Parking in Matera is difficult, and there are no areas for tourists, where hefty fines are handed out if you do not have the right pass Miriam helped locate a very cnvenient car park for us Hotel room is comfortable and has all the requiredamenities
