The ‘spa’ bit is €40/hr private hire and downstairs, no windows so we gave that a skip. The room with balcony and sea view was lovely with a fridge but no kettle. We didn’t partake in €12 pp breakfast. There is a bar/restaurant on 5th floor with sea views and an amazing astroturf roof terrace on 6th floor with lots of seating -again a really lovely surprise. All in all I couldn’t work out why the Trip advisor reviews were so bad, we had a lovely time!" We had a wonderful stay at Villa Laura. Our host Franco was very helpful and gave us lots of excellent information. Sunsets are breathtaking. We had lovely evenings having dinner and watching the sun set. There’s an easy stepping path to walk down to the water. A bit of helpful information- you will need water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks and sea urchins while getting into the water but once in, the water is refreshing and crystal clear. We had snorkel masks and had a great time snorkeling along the coast. The layout of the house has 3 bedrooms on the main floor and a separate bedroom on the ground floor with its own kitchenette. The kitchens are well stocked. For coffee drinkers there’s a DeLongi machine with coffee pods. There’s also a French press and kukima. Lovely place. Listening to the sea at night is sublime. Hope to return!
