"Great hotel to stay in for the Playa de La Catedrales (which is fantastic!) Check in was very simple with Rodrigo being very enthusiastic about the area, recommending several places and the best time to see them. He also strongly suggested I book breakfast for an additional €10, which I was very pleased I had when I was served a superb breakfast the following morning. Rooms are basic but comfortable. The main selling points of this hotel are the location and excellent staff who are so welcoming...

"This place is truly amazing and for the price too. The owner went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was vast and well executed. I really do recommend this to travellers in the Foz area. Downside was timing in the year. Quiet in april but that isnt the Pensions fault!"

"bed was very comfortable. In a beautiful area. Full parking garage and can fit a large vehicle. Host was very friendly and showed us some solid local restaurants. Would stay there again for sure! "

"Interesting views over harbour and estuary. Easy walking to town area, but cafes and restaurants don't open until late evening for dinner which is normal for non-tourist areas in Spain. Supermarkets available on the outskirts of town. Mountain areas accessible by road. Great breakfast choice and service excellent. "
