We arrived at the resort near midnight from long, delayed flights. The check-in was fast and easy. There was still food (pizza and fries) available at the snack bar for a quick eat. The room was super cold (which felt wonderful after being in heat). The rooms are a bit outdated and the hotel itself looks a bit older, but it was still great! It was cleaned and the AC worked well. The resort had amazing food, each area was delicious! The pools were always cleaned. The staff constantly were picking up empty cups to make it look clean, the beach was super clean and plenty of loungers. The coffee shop wasn’t opened much when we’d walk by, but when we managed to get a coffee it was good. There’s tons of iguanas which made the atmosphere seem even more tropical. We decided to take a couple excursions from Greg, who is at the boardwalk. He helped us with getting transportation back to the airport as well. Overall, this resort exceeded expectations! Lovely area!!

I really liked the customer service, the beach is not as beautiful as others but the activities, the food, the shows and the staff were great. The room was also amazing, my kids loved the slide in their bed. I will definitely come back

The restaurant was excellent morning, noon and night...but with the night eating it is only reservations ONLY at 6,7,8,9....but you cannot make them there at restaurant, juist at the front desk. I e-mailed them to make reservationes for that evening, and 5 days later still no response so I am very happy I made a special trip to front desk to get it taken care of. Food was great. Only problem for me was no ice machine in building #3 as I walked the floors one evening for 15 minutes and finally bumped into a local maintaince worker and he said only 1 is on the bottom floor by registration. Sad, usually there is one on all hotel floors near the elevators.

We had the perfect room located in the Premium section. The staff was incredible, Stephen, Christian, Jimmy and Javier to mention a few of the bartenders. This hotel was a great find - but keep in mind that we stayed in the upgraded area, building 3. We did hear people complaining about building 1. Everything was well looked after, the food was good, the grounds are lovely and the pools are terrific. I would definitely return.

The location was great, the beach was beautiful. The room had extensive water damage and smelt like mold. The pool was dirty - milky water, stunk, and lots of tree debris. Lots of parking which was great and we could use the amenities while waiting for our room after an early arrival. The restaurant food was great - only with a reservation - but the buffet was not. We will not return.

Resort was very clean, it was obvious that the worked hard to keep it that was constantly. Staff was always super nice and welcoming. Security was always present but subtle about it. Everyone we talked to was always helpful in every way they could be. The food was all good with nice dinner reservations available at all 3 different restaurants on site. They all served very nice, very flavorful different styles of food, and the buffets the had were good too. We loved the place and will be back!

Ocean was visible from room...staff was friendly...no coffee available on property til 7 or 7:30. Not sure if we were habitually too late but tried to make reservations multiple times, sometimes days in advance, for the on site restaurants only to get rejected every time but one. Did not use many of the amenities as we were always out adventuring in the country and had no need for any of the amenities.

Our needs were very well met. The pool activities were great fun. i enjoyed the Salsa and Merengue dance class with Ashley and Gustavo and the pool water aerobics classes were great fun. Lulu and others were great instructors. I am on some medicine that needs refrigeration, and the staff brought me a medical refrigerator so I could get my medicine during the stay. They went above and beyond to take care of us. The nightly dance shows are stupendous! We couldn't catch all the comedy dialogue in Spanish, but it was fun anyway, and the dancers and splendid costumes were amazing.

The pools were filthy, on the border they had a layer of something greasy. The room was “premium” it had an exclusive pool. the shower didn’t worked properly. No AC control. There were bedbugs. The balcony was nice The food in general was bad, in some cases disgusting… when I asked for some ingredients for allergy they didn’t know and didn’t bother to follow back. The kids animation was good

Not enough staff were English speaking. Always told us, "no speak English". Couldn't get reservations on your app, always said rejected, unless we went and seen a guy. No bacon for breakfast was a disappointment. Activities and entertainment were always in Spanish which you couldn't understand. Food was good.
