Perfect Stay
The suite (or The Nest as I called it) was so perfect. Owners thought of everything. The place was exceptionally cleaned and well stocked. Location was convenient to everything for us and communication was superb. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you for letting us stay.

Perfect in every way
Peaceful, adorable, ultra clean, beautiful linens, everything you need is already there, the location is super convenient to most destinations on the Cape. Carol and Gene could not have been more perfect hosts! Thank you - thank you we had a wonderful getaway!

Perfect Place To Stay
A great layout. CLEAN and well appointed. Private & quiet. The back yard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy. Right off of route 6A so easy access. Carol was a wealth of information and was a pleasure to communicate with before and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Ideal base to explore Cape Cod
The Osprey Nest is situated in a quiet road. Amenities such as restaurants and supermarkets are only a short drive away. The property itself is well equipped and had literally everything we needed from washing up liquid to beach chairs. The owners responded to emails instantly. A fabulous property which we definitely return to on our next visit to Cape Cod.

Great efficiency in great location
This property is just as described. Actually better than described. It is fully supplied with everything and in working order. The Nest is very private. Very quiet neighborhood walking distance to downtown Barnstable, whale watching and the beach (20 minutes or so). Hosts are on property and very helpful.

Scuba Weekend
The suite was incredibly clean and located in a perfect spot for us as we were traveling to get Scuba certified. Carol’s communication was excellent and so accommodating. We will definitely be making recommendations to stay here to any friends traveling to the Cape!

Immaculate, cozy suite centrally located; Barnstable Village was within walking distance, as was the Audubon sanctuary. Close to several eateries. The Osprey Nest suite contained all possible amenities including great Wifi connection & TV programming. Plenty of privacy & the owners were very welcoming.

Wonderful stay
My husband and I stayed at this property for our wedding weekend in late September, and it was everything advertised and then some. Very clean, beautiful property/location, and had all the amenities you could need. As my partner put it, "whenever I needed something and looked for it, there it was." Consistent communication with hosts too. Highly recommend, great in general and especially for couples looking for a get-a-way.

Only 5 stars?
Not even close! If I could rate this rental 10 stars I would. It was the perfect location to explore the Cape. Very clean, organized, and easy to get to right off the main Hwy. It is centrally located in the historic part of Barnstable and offers beautiful drives and stunning views. The owner, Carol, is very attentive to your needs and ensures that your stay is perfect. I couldn’t ask for a better location to spend a week enjoying Cape Cod. I would HIGHLY recommend.

wonderfully private and spacious abode
centrally located but off the beaten path quiet and secluded private spacious room with all amenities. Nicely decorated, comfy bed and great shower. Must be able to go up a set of outdoor stairs to access. Loved it and would def stay there again. Owners very accommodating.

Everything about our stay was perfect! From the checking in process to checking out, all was easily explained and easy to do. Everything we could have needed was there waiting for us, and the location was essentially in the middle of everything so traveling anywhere was easy! The space is quaint and cozy while also romantic! We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Perfect in so many ways
The only shortfall was that it wasn't on the water... But everything else was perfect. The owner was great. She even offered to send back a bracelet that I left behind. The location was great. The town of Barnstable was very quaint with great restaurants and market. We spent a day on the bay beach 20 minutes away and then took ferry to Martha's vineyard which was only 10 minutes way. Even though the place was above the owners home, it felt very secluded. The attention to detail was amazing and we really loved our stay!

Perfectly equipped space!
We had a great time at the Osprey Nest! Carol and Gene anticipated every need we might possibly have, from umbrellas to laundry detergent and everything in between. The space was cozy and comfortable. We loved the eating nook booth and the balcony, and the yard with its relaxing gardens and lights guiding us over the path at night felt kind of magical, especially when we had a rainy night. We appreciated the recommendation for the Barnstable Market - Best sandwiches and hot food to go as well. We would definitely stay again!

Serene retreat
What a lovely, cozy and comfortable apartment! Everything was tasteful, elegant and thoughfully provided. All the things I often forget were there A nicely stocked kitchen, with teas, coffee even hot chocolate. The grounds were gorgeous. The owners could not have been nicer . The place was great.

amazing apartment in cape cod!
the osprey nest suite is a beautiful one bedroom apartment with its own entrance separate from the main house. it has central air and plenty of windows, along with absolutely everything you could need, including a washer/dryer, umbrellas, lanterns, and robes. i could write pages to detail everything that carol & gene provided, but i will simply say that if there were anything we needed that was not provided, i am sure carol and gene would come through in no time. furthermore, their dog is the sweetest and quietest thing, and i cannot wait to play with her and climb the tree during my next stay here!!! i rate this place 5 stars, a perfect 10.0, and give two thumbs up :)

Perfect getaway
This was our second time staying at this wonderful property. This is such a perfect spot for a long weekend. Each time we stay we are so impressed by the clean environment and always feel so comfortable. This property is in a great location; a 10 minute drive to beaches and town. I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Cape Cod Getaway
We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Osprey Nest Suite. The suite was beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming, and very clean. The space was perfect for two. It is surrounded by a gorgeous, welcoming yard. The location on the Bay Side makes it very convenient to visit beautiful beaches and makes it very easy to explore all parts of Cape Cod. Carol and Gene are very friendly and helpful in answering questions about activities in the area. Their goldie Penny is absolutely adorable!

The perfect romantic getaway
My wife and were looking for a romantic escape after our wedding as we delayed our "official" honeymoon until later in the fall. We could not have been more pleased with the Osprey Nest Suite. It was private, meticulously appointed and sparkling clean. Carol and Gene thought of every amenity including beach chairs, beach bags, beach towels, tea and coffee, waters in the fridge, and the most touching was the bottle of bubbly, bag of chocolates and warm congratulatory note we discovered on the table in the dining nook upon our arrival. My wife and I have spent very little time on the Cape, and Carol was super responsive and helpful when we texted her for recommendations. We had a great day at Mayflower Beach in Dennis and delicious dinners at Mattakeese Wharf in Barnstable, Pecorino Romano in Dennis, and at the Old Yarmouth Inn. We are already planning our next visit to the Osprey Nest as our only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

We were so happy when we got the inquiry from Alan and Jennifer to stay at the Osprey Nest Suite after their wedding! We hoped that they would find it as a quiet, comfortable, private escape after the planning and hosting of their wedding. We were happy to help them with some local recommendations of restaurants and beaches, and it was nice to hear they were enjoying them all. We didn't get a chance to meet them this time, but are hoping they'll return and we'll all have the time to catch up. We would highly recommend them as guests!

The Perfect Cape Getaway!!
What an ADORABLE Cape apartment! Carol and Gene were extremely accommodating, kind and responded quickly and effectively to any and all questions we had before checking in and during our stay. The Osprey Nest was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. The suite has it's own private entrance and everything you could need for a beach getaway (even a washer dryer!). 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a quick weekend trip or even an extended stay!

Mary was the perfect guest! It was a pleasure to have her at the Osprey Nest Suite, and she left the place spotless. We were happy to hear how much she enjoyed the space and her time on Cape Cod. We look forward to seeing her again the next time she visits the area.

Happy In the Nest
Our stay in The Osprey Nest Suite was the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is not one amenity overlooked! Super comfortable bed, great shower, super plush towels and a pretty porch to sit on and have your morning coffee. Carol and Gene are lovely hosts; they were totally available for any questions we had and even explained a walking route to a beautiful bay beach. They suggested the perfect places to eat ! And if we wanted we could even whip up a quick meal in the suite. We would happily return to The Osprey Nest Suite!

What great guests! We were so happy to have Florid and her friend at the Osprey Nest Suite during their Girls' Getaway. It was like seeing old friends when we met them, and they took such great care of everything in the suite, leaving it spotless. We hope to have them back the next time they visit Cape Cod.
