Located just a mile outside of charming Barnstable Village, and a stroll away from both a small quiet bayside beach and the fabulous trails of the MA Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, it is also within a quick 10 minute drive to one of the most happening towns on the Cape, Hyannis. This newly updated suite is very private; located above our home. There are outdoor steps leading to its own separate entrance and little deck. It is well appointed with a small nicely equipped kitchen (Mini fridge, Elect. Cooktop, Microwave, Toaster Oven, Coffee Maker, etc.), great built-in table with banquette seating, comfy queen size bed with a wonderful reclaimed wood bedframe made by a New England craftsman, twin size sleeper sofa, wall mounted TV, and two closets with plenty of storage. The nicely sized full bath has a walk-in shower, along with a washer & dryer. A Mini Split AC/Heat System keeps the suite cool when needed in the Summer and warm and cozy in the Winter. With loads of windows, and a fabulous bird's-eye view above the secluded backyard, the Osprey Nest is sure to become your favorite Cape Cod escape! Please note: The Osprey Nest Suite is located in the back of the house in the upper level. To access its private entrance and deck there are 16 wooden outside steps to climb.(see photos) No Children Under 10 years of age. This was the coziest place I’ve ever stayed at. I typically don’t sleep well on the road, and I slept great here. This was a great central location to all of the places we wanted to visit. We also booked a fishing trip that left out of Millway beach (it was very close by). Highly recommend the buttercup for breakfast!
