A fantastic Guest House with a personal touch
We visited Brunswick House as we were attending a wedding locally and needed a place to stay. The guest house is nestled in a leafy street over looking a river at the back, all very picturesque. Once we navigated our car through the tiniest driveway we parked up and entered the guest house from the rear. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and were shown our room straight away. The room was lovely, all very clean and neat, fresh fruit and tea/coffee and sugar were available with a small bottle of fresh milk ready in the fridge. Dinner wasn't available as had to be pre-booked so would recommend you did this well before your stay but we soon found Dinner at the Teesside Hotel opposite and would thoroughly recommend their food - it was fantastic. The favourite part of our stay was Breakfast - a full range of cereals, fresh fruits, nuts, fruit juices and yoghurts sat beautifully on the dresser on our arrival in the dining room, we then could order a full fry up specifically to our own liking. A personal touch of a Lindor chocolate bunny on our side plates as we arrived for breakfast on Easter Sunday was a lovely idea. I would thoroughly recommend Brunswick house if you were to stay in Mickleton, the warm welcome that awaits you is worth the money and the personal touchs do really set this place apart from the others.
