"Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut. Leider sind die Duschen sehr eng. Die Badewanne konnte ebenfalls wegen des defekten Badewannenstöpsels nicht richtig genutzt werden. Das große Schlafzimmer hatte keine Tür, daher hörte man die Unterhaltungen der Mitreisenden im Wohnzimmer. Das im großen Schlafzimmer vorhandene runde Fenster konnte man bedauerlicherweise nicht abdecken, daher fiel recht früh das erste Sonnenlicht in das Schlafzimmer. "We really enjoyed our stay at Aqualuz, especially because of its excellent location. If you enjoy walking, this hotel is a great choice. We easily walked to the Marina, Old Town, and all the beaches, from Meia Praia to Praia Dona Ana, to Praia do Canavial, and everything in between. It was wonderful being able to explore so much of Lagos on foot. The hotel pool was a refreshing bonus after a long day in the sun and a great way to relax and reenergize before heading out for dinner. Breakfast was amazing and always well stocked, with several options to start the day. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough, with a tv room, bathroom, and a bedroom. There is also a mini fridge and safe. It looks like all rooms have a pool facing view. Our room was cleaned daily around 3 p.m. Fresh towels were always provided which was appreciated. A couple of small things to note: the bathroom amenities were a bit lacking. The shower had one bottle of combined hair and body wash. There was one small guest hand soap at the sink (which was never replaced), with a disposable shower cap and small vanity kit. There is a small laundry room you can use for a fee. If it is busy, there is another one in the Spar convenience store just steps away. Overall, I definitely recommend Aqualuz and would happily stay here again. The location, breakfast, pool, and comfortable rooms made it a great choice for us, an older coupler who like to walk everywhere."

"The best thing about this hotel is its location. Its a clean hotel with great staff. The beach is a long walk from the hotel but its beautiful. You do not need water shoes here. The beach is all smooth sand . There are numerous restaurants and shopping all within walking distance to the hotel as well as tours. So great location. I do recommend this hotel to future tourists. Only negative was the room we were assigned. Its on the left side of the front desk, very old rooms, large with large balcony. To access the room we had to go down some beautiful but deeply winding stairs. To go to breakfast we had another set of beautiful but very winding stairs. This area was not safe for seniors with those stairs, yet many seniors were assigned those rooms. I would recommend to the hotel not to put seniors in that area of their hotel."
