The charm of the countryside to the city

The house is located on a plot of 3500m2 including a pond and its occupants.
The ground floor consists of a large room with living room, dining room and kitchen; A shower room and a separate WC.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms.
The house is located in Barentin, dynamic community known for its numerous statues and its rich commercial area.
The easy access to the road network will enable you to quickly discover Normandy and especially its beaches: Veules les Roses, Etretat, Le Havre, Honfleur, Deauville, Dieppe, Fécamp and of course the landing beaches.
Rouen, the city with a hundred bell towers, is to be discovered absolutely for its history and architecture it is only 10 minutes away.
A little further you will appreciate the abbey of Jumièges.
Le Havre whose city center was rebuilt by Auguste Perret and World Heritage by unesco.
Normandy also puts its flora in the spotlight with the floral park of the wood of the Moutiers in Varengeville on sea or the house and gardens of Claude Monnet in Giverny.

Lovely House

A lovely house that was clean and modern. We had a very relaxing time and the chickens and geese provided endless entertainment! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Relaxing

A comfortable, clean and well-equipped cottage with shops within easy reach. As it was hot we spent most of our afternoons lounging in the sun in the pretty and peaceful garden, being amused by the chickens and geese. Thank you Catherine for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

Barrentin

We had a very enjoyable 2 week stay in Catherine's house. Very quite, wonderful garden in a peaceful surrounding. The house has everything one needs, spacious, well equipped and easy to clean. We holiday in France every year and this was one of the best houses, host and everything that you can expect.

Gite is on the edge of a housing development but is very private with parking behind a lockable gate and a beautiful garden shared with the hosts. We used the gite as a base to visit numerous places around Normandy. Gite is lovely inside, nice and airy with two sets of patio doors, has a separate modern shower room and toilet. The only slight negative is that there is no oven in the kitchen but a there is a combination microwave. We're not familiar with a microwave combo so it did restrict our cooking options. There is a large shopping centre within a five minute drive.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful guest house to stay in. The inside is very bright, clean, quiet, comfortable and welcoming. We loved the outdoor space too, the resident goose was a blast to watch and interact with and the gardens were lovely. Quaint neighborhood, easy to navigate and access to shopping for groceries. For sure would stay here again!

Das wunderbare, geschmackvoll eingerichtete und sehr gut ausgestattete Haus liegt im riesigen und traumhaft angelegten Garten der Besitzer. Diesen darf man mit nutzen und man findet immer neue Lieblingsstellen zum Verweilen. Die Besitzer sind ausgesprochen freundlich und begegnen einen immer mit einem Lächeln. Wir haben zwei tolle und erholsame Wochen bei bestem Wetter verbracht. Die Landschaft und die Umgebung bieten viel Abwechslung: Sei es Kultur, Fahrradfahren oder Wandern. Auch das Meer (Dieppe) ist in einer dreiviertel Stunde über die Nationalstraße erreichbar.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.Le cadre est juste fantastique, la maison est fonctionnelle et tres propre.Le logement est idealement place avec toutes les commodites a proximité.La propriétaire des lieux est tres reactive et dune incroyable gentillesse.Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et nous y retournerons sans hesitation

Gîte fonctionnel et très propre avec vue sur le magnifique jardin des propriétaires

Accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires. La pièce de vie donne sur le jardin des propriétaires qui est très joli, sur lequel se promènent quelques poules, un couple d’oies et des poules d’eau. La situation géographique est parfaite pour visiter les boucles de la Seine (Jumieges, Rouen,…). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Calme et repos dans un cadre ideal

La maison est très confortable et bien aménagée,tout est fait pour être bien, dans un environnement où domine la verdure . Le quartier est très calme. Et l'accueil de notre hôte mérite la note maximum. Je recommande vivement.

Logement + jardin au TOP 👍

Le logement est très lumineux, bien assez spacieux pour 4 et d’une propreté impeccable. Surtout on bénéficie d’un jardin magnifique, fleuri et agrémenté par les poules et oies qui s’y promènent. Véhicule indispensable mais spa cieux facile et sécurisé. Facile d'accès. Catherine, nous a accueilli avec le sourire. Bref c’était parfait.

prima vakantie woning voor 3 volwassenen of 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, schoon. tuin was netjes onderhouden en kleurrijk. het is wel een grote gemeenschappelijke tuin met de eigenaren van de vak. woning. rustige wijk. iets meer comfortabele fauteuils is wel aan te bevelen.

Urlaub fast wie auf dem Bauernhof

Sehr hübsches Häuschen, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, sehr nette Gastgeberin, immer hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank an Catherine für die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit, viel Spaß mit dem Federvieh und Barentin war als Basislager für unsere Ausflüge perfekt.

Un joli petit coin de nature

Nous avons apprécié cet espace dans un joli coin de nature, jusqu’à la fontaine, avec sa jolie musique quand l eau s étend dans la mare où trônent plusieurs fleurs de lotus… Tout est bien pensé pour que les hôtes se sentent chez eux et c est ce que nous avons vécu.
