"This is an absolutely beautiful property. It’s very secluded and has a very romantic feeling to it. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like family. We booked it last minute after our VRBO ended up being a scam and we had to scramble to find somewhere to sleep. This owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome after our terrible experience with the VRBO. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. One of the best eco-lodges we have ever stayed at. ...The scenic location overlooking the confluence of Rio Nosara and the ocean fosters an impressive array of birds, monkeys, coati and other wildlife. ... Just as impressive is the cleanliness of the entire grounds, featuring 3 lovely pools, a jacuzzi, a yoga/health spa and a fine restaurant ... The staff is awesome! Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They arrange shuttle service to local beach towns as well. During our week there, some became our friends! ... One caution - we felt the bedding could be improved -- firmer mattress, softer pillows. Otherwise, everything was Pura Vida!"

"This property was everything we could ask for. Upon arrival, Brian, the front desk manager gave us a wonderful briefing explaining everything well and the property has a nice beach an easy walk in one direction where the sunset view is incredible. Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. The hotel room was great and the breakfast was perfect, served around the pool area each morning. A very relaxing, accomodating place, I will definitely stay at again when visiting that area "
