"Easy access for the motorway , handy for a stopover on the way south . The room is a bit tired but comfy enough with good A/C . The room is motel style with car outside front door and another door that leads to a terrace with a table and chairs out onto the garden and the pool. "I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"The concept is novel and well executed. We were staying as part of a cycling tour down the Via Rhona, for which the location is perfect, with bespoke secure bike storage. "It was a vey old place and the rooms looked very old and broken and used. But it was only for a cheap quick stay for the night so didn’t expect anything more than that actually. The staff was very friendly. Located near big shopping area. The neighbor is an amazing bakery with the most delicious baked goods and cakes. "
