Are you looking for an awesome apartment in a vibrant and convenient location in Barcelona? Then this is THE place for you! Located right next to the Sant Antoni Market, in the Raval neighborhood - the very city centre of Barcelona, you can go anywhere on foot. Just down your apartment you will find various coffee places, restaurants and bars to spend all your free time! And if that is not enough, you are just a stone’s throw away from the amazing food market of Sant Antoni! If you need any recommendation, we are more than happy to help you. The apartment has been furnished with great care in order to suit your needs for a short stay in the city. It has been designed and thought for active and independent travelers. Practical details: 1 Living room with a sofa bed, tv and dining table. Has a small balcony facing the street. The sofa bed is recommended just for 1 person. 1 Open kitchen, equipped with all its necessary tools, such as: microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. 1 Bedroom with a queen size bed 1 Bathroom with a shower and toilet Washing Machine & Dryer Air Conditioning & Heating (Hot & Cold air converter) Wi-Fi. Location: It is located in the Raval Neighborhood, right next to the Sant Antoni Traditional Market. It is surrounded by many trendy bars and restaurants, which you can all reach in less than 10 minutes walking. This area is known for its livelihood and cool bars. District: Raval Nearest grocery store: 70 meters away Nearest pharmacy: 130 meters away Transportation: We highly recommend moving around walking and using public transportation, as downtown isn't the best place to park a car. If you rent a scooter, though, you will manage just perfectly! If you do decide to come by car, you can find a parking down the Sant Antoni Market. Nearest Metro station: Sant Antoni, 220 meters away Barcelona airport: Barcelona's airport is located 16.5 kilometers away, about 25 minutes from the flat by car. Use the AeroBus for best convenience. Nearest Beach: Barcelona's Beach is located at 3.5 kilometers from the building Nearest Ferry: Barcelona's Port at 3 Kilometers. If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to advise before or while making the reservation. Depending on the variation it implies, it may be charged separately (15€/set). There is a mandatory tourist tax of 2,48 €/person/night and a municipal surcharge of 4,40€/person/night which is to be paid upon arrival, as it is not included in the rate. It has to be paid directly to the rental agency. Smoking, group dinners, parties and noise after 9pm are absolutely prohibited. Police fine goes between € 200 and € 600 and are paid at the moment. People under the age of 25 are not allowed in the property unless they come with their elders. There is a late check-in fee of €30 for check-ins between 8pm and 11.59pm, and €50 for later check-ins. This fee must be paid in cash directly to the check-in agent. Otherwise, VAT must be added to it. There is a damage deposit of €400 (credit card authorisation) to be paid upon arrival. For stays under 7 days, it is released automatically up to 7 days after your depature (if the apartment is left in good conditions). This is not applicable for reservations via Airbnb. This is an in-person check-in, you will coordinate with an agent to enter the property. Check in time is from 15h to 20h. When checking in later, note that there is a late check-in fee of €30 for check-ins between 8pm and 11.59pm, and €50 for later check-ins. This fee must be paid in cash directly to the check-in agent. Otherwise, VAT must be added to it. A few days before your arrival, you will receive a PreCheck-in Form that requires you to fill out your passport, contact and arrival details. It is essential that you indicate the estimated time of your arrival in here. ON THE DAY OF YOUR ARRIVAL: to make sure that we are able to meet you on time at the apartment, it is necessary that you call us at least 30-40 minutes before arriving to the apartment on the check-in agent's phone number indicated in the Guest Portal (using the link of the PreCheck-in Form). If you do not call us on time, you might need to wait for the check-in agent. The place is listed on VRBO but local management group does not communicate well. You need to look for emails from 2 different sources that look like spam so it's easy to miss vital information. The check in process is unreliable which is disconcerting after a long trip. They don't use WhatsApp like the rest of the world and they ignore all communication through VRBO. No welcome information in the unit so everything is a guessing game. They skimp on the basics: no coffee, no coffee filters, no sugar, no dish soap, no sponge, only one dishtowel, no bath soap, no shampoo. For $10 they could give you a better experience but instead you spend they first part of your trip looking for basic household items. They provide the crappiest coffee maker I have ever seen. Have fun mopping up the countertop every morning as it gurgles and randomly burps coffee that misses the pot. Stingy and annoying if only because it would be so easy for them to do better. The bathroom is tiny. You can barely turn around in the shower stall or maneuver around in the tiny cubicle of a room. But the water pressure is good and the hot water is plentiful. The neighborhood is marginal and you must walk through a sketchier zone to reach the Barrio Gotic, etc. However, the apartment is located near a very convenient Metro stop so you can ride underneath everything and avoid getting mugged. The price seems good but, at least when I visited in November, it would have been cheaper to stay in a good hotel with a much better location. ##### Timothy P. Stayed 7 nights in Nov 2022 ### 8/10 Good #### Ali A. 28 Sept 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy Disliked: Location #### Good stay The apartment is pretty cozy for up to 3 people, it’s small (just like most apartments in Barcelona are), but it’s surprisingly well equipped for all the necessities of an enjoyable stay, and it’s very clean which is was our big plus ! The neighborhood itself is creepy, keep your belongings close to you and your guards a little up and you should be fine. The location though is very good cause it’s 10 min walk from the main square of the city so very easy to access. ##### Ali A. Pas dans le quartier de las Remblas justement qui est surfait. Tout peut se faire à pied. Métro à côté. Top Comme beaucoup d’appartements dans ce coin : isolation phonique élémentaire donc on entend bien la vie de ses voisins le soir et la nuit mais c’est aussi ça le charme de Barcelone.
