Groups of friends will not be permitted to enter. The private patio can only be accessed until 10pm as consideration for neighbours) For those that like their space, this huge 95m2 ground floor apartment with private patio is located in the Parallel district of central Barcelona (only 1 metro stop away or 15 mins walk from Las Ramblas). On entering the apartment, you will be welcomed by the main lounge area, containing a large sofa, from which you can relax or watch TV. Moving on, the central portion contains a dining area, and an adjoining American styled kitchen, which is fully equipped, and contains a gas cooker and oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Further along, you will find a bright bathroom with bath tub and shower, next to which there is a single bedroom, and a bright bedroom with double bed. The indoor patio towards the end has an adjoining room for the washing machine, and, via the large double glazed patio doors, leads to a sunny 20m2 split level patio, which contains a table and seating for 3 people. This Barcelona holiday apartment is only a 15 min walk away from Las Ramblas or the port, and a short 15min bus ride away from the beach. The metro stop conveniently located at the end of the road provides easy access to all of Barcelona’s main areas, including Camp Nou, Placa Espanya, Placa Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, the Gaudi buildings and Park Guell. The local neighbourhood was great, with a bakery for breakfast and a local street with restaurants and patios. Then it's a very short walk to the subway and not far at all from the port and the Gothic Quarter. The apartment is not fancy but it felt comfortable and roomy. The host was VERY accommodating, meeting us even early than check in. People who leave such negative reviews, please give yourself a reality check. Yes the furnishings and location is modest. Why are you visiting, to stay indoors? The place is very functional and a reasonable cost. You can always pay many more Euro if you want "high class". Guess what you get likely get NO kitchen, no stove, and you get to buy all your food and pay even more. Your choice. The owner is extremely accommodating. I would definitely stay if I visit again. Le local est aveugle donc très sombre avec très peu de lumière naturelle malgré des photos semblant lumineuses. L'isolation phonique y est catastrophique et chaque fois qu'un voisin tire une chasse d'eau ou prend de l'eau, vous entendez absolument tout au niveau des canalisations. La personne qui dort dans le canapé inconfortable du salon, aura également droit aux bruits de la rue et autres nuisances. Entre le vacarme des voisins rentrant dans l'immeuble en laissant claquer la porte après avoir longtemps sonné à l'interphone, les passants qui profitent de la façade pour se poser, discuter ou encore fumer et le tapage de la circulation des véhicules, des camions de livraison ou poubelle tard dans la nuit. Niveau propreté, ce n'est pas bon. On peut citer l'état de saleté du four, des couverts mais également du rideau de douche (fixé avec du câble), des sols et même des murs sales et ayant des tâches d'humidité, etc. A noter également, un aménagement réalisé visiblement avec principalement des meubles de récupération en très mauvais états voire cassés et en nombre insuffisant pour 5 personnes. Quant au patio, celui-ci, en plus d'être sale, est encombré de de linges tombés des séchoirs des balcons supérieurs. Dommage car l'emplacement reste très bien à proximité du métro et de commerces. De même que l'accueil et la communication avec notre hôte furent très bon et agréables ##### Jérémy D.
