My Wife and I spent 6 nights at this lovely hotel, the room was spotless, cleaned every day and towels changed too plus free water left in the fridge. Staff very helpful and friendly especially Erik on reception. Sea view rooms are amazing with free use of towels for pool and beach !! The only slightly disappointing thing was the lack of choice in the hotel restaurant but not a big isdue as numerous restaurants within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The staff at the dONNA hotel was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was filled with fresh fruit, bread, great coffee, and the staff always asked if we wanted any eggs or cooked items. We are definitely wanting to visit again.

Great stay on outskirts of downtown area

Great stay, beach right in the back of hotel with nice broad walk to run. Lots of restaurants but no souvenir stores in the area. Only bad thing is transportation into downtown Barcelona area. You must take multiple buses/trains which may run on different schedule posted. It’s easier to take bus L194 to metro Gothic neighborhood.

I only stayed 1 night at this hotel (unfortunately) in mid-october, but I would recommend it at 100%. I knew it was off downtown, but I have heard you can commute easily to see all the tourist spots downtown Barcelona. Honestly, I enjoyed a lot more being off and I appreciated so much being so close to the water and a very long boardwalk. Some people would argue/critic that it is far away, but I would not. For me it was extremely convenient to also stay close to the airport, and there were no annoyances like in so many other places (like poorly behaved uneducated tourists, lots of noise, loud bars and clubs, etc). It was extremely clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I tried the terrasse restaurant and everything I ate/drank was delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer to also enjoy the pool (it was crystal clear), but I had to leave. Barcelona is a very expensive city, so be aware that the taxi from the airport to this spot will be between 24 and 30 Euros, single ride). The are had numerous cafés, restaurants but I cannot say anything about nightlife. It was very quiet, since the room is very well isolated. Thanks to the nice staff that made me have a very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend and/or come back !!

Room was fairly clean. Ability to control the temperature and water view from room and balcony were amazing. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom and shower placement weren’t preferred. Restaurant expensive. Better options within walking distance. Breakfast is for a fee. Pool looked beautiful.

Stunning view, but not a great stay

The hotel is nice and the view from the balcony was amazing. However the room does need some maintenance - water leaking from the shower has damaged the wooden panels and the flooring. On the Friday and Saturday night there was private functions at the hotel Resturant that were very loud and kept us awake.

Not worth it

The location is great. This hotel desperately needs remodeling. The room smelled like a sewage. I had to open the window so I could sleep but at 6 am some people woke me up screaming at the bus station which is right by the hotel. I ad to close the window so I can sleep. The blue lights on the hallway is like a drug lab. The view from the pool and hotel restaurant is great, but no way this stay was worth the money paid for the room.

The hallways are Extremely dark w dim blue lighting, very odd!! The shower placement in the middle of the room behind the bed was also very odd! Turning the shower on was also difficult, toiletries were limited. Sink placement also odd. Safe in a wheeled cart kinda defeats the purpose! The view of the sea was spectacular. Unfortunately, we had to keep the drapes (hard to pull and broken) closed due to privacy ie when taking a shower etc We only stayed one night before leaving for the airport the next day so we made do but definitely would not recommend staying here for any length of time.
