Welcome to my apartment! The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this modern and bright 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, is perfect for those who want to stay in the old neighbourhood of the city with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Las Ramblas and Liceu theater.
The Space:
Welcome to this 60 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Las Ramblas and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Old Town is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.
We are managers of other apartments in the building, really convenient for big families, groups of friends or business trips. Please note all apartments are almost identical, on layout, equipment and characteristics, but there might be some small changes on decoration.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 4 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Individual bed

The Neighborhood:
El Raval is a cosmopolitan and multicultural neighborhood that is part of the Ciutat Vella district, the historic part of Barcelona. It is the perfect place for lovers of history and culture, as it is home to emblematic monuments and museums of Barcelona. The Palau Güell, the MACBA, the CCCB and the famous Mercado de la Boqueria are some of the symbols of this neighborhood where people of all nationalities converge.
Getting Around:
- The apartment is located 5 minutes away from Liceu metro station (L3) by Las Ramblas.
- The easiest way to get from/to the airport is taking the Aerobus at Plaza Catalunya, this costs around 4,50 EUR per person.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

We had to book this place very last minute and the host was very easy to reach and communicate with. Check in was incredibly easy. Very responsive to messages. Apartment was very clean, neat and spacious. Location was super close to Las Ramblas and could walk to supermarkets. Felt very safe. Would definitely recommend.

nice but would not do it again.
The place was nice, they stated it was on the second floor. I guess that is what they say there but the apt was on the fourth floor. If you are traveling without bags that is not a problem. I was traveling for 5 weeks with 2 older ladies and large bags. Would not have booked it I would have known 4.5 story walk up. There is an elevator, but it does not work.
Not clean, noisy surroundings, constant smell from neighbors smoking cigarettes and marijuana.
I could not stay in this apartment due to how dirty, noisy and smell of cigarettes and marijuana. I asked for a refund but was denied. Owner kept saying the mold in the bathroom was just dirt. I asked why then as he kept repeating my cleaning crew cleaned well and did not see mold, why didn’t they clean the “dirty” bathroom. They couldn’t because it was mold. My son stayed a few nights since he went out with friends, but he said it was very gross. I stayed at another Airbnb. KEEP AWAY FROM HERE!!

Encountered difficulty getting the exterior door open upon our arrival. Then encountered difficulty with the 24 hour service responder. The link to the door app didn’t work nor could the service person (on phone) get the door to open or the link to work for us. The door app not opening the door continued for several days until the owner sent a repair person. Other people were experiencing the same difficulties with the door app and failure of the door to open. The microwave open button needs repaired. The kitchen sink drains very, very slowly.
Obwohl 600€ Kaution auf der Inserats-Seite standen und der Miertbetrag erst bei Ankunft erhoben werden sollte, sind vorher 1000€ belastet worden und der Rest bei Ankunft.
Der Zugang war "schlüssellos" - funktionierte aber leider nicht. Wir mussten 1,5 Stunden warten, bis jemand kam. Die ganze Kommunikation war unpersönlich und nur per Whats-App oder Mail möglich.
Die Wohnung selber war nicht sauber - Boden war staubig/sandig, Waschbecken nicht sauber,
Toilettenspüung war defekt und wurde notdürftig geflickt. Duschablauf war verstopft (zum Glück gab es Rohrfrei).
Das Doppeltbett war kaputt und nur durch eine Plastikbox, die jemand darunter gestellt hat, zu benutzen - aber nur von einer Person. Die Klappcouch im Whz war defekt und funktionierte nur notdürftig.
Es gab Ameisen und Kakerlaken.
Insgesamt wurde im Haus viel und die ganze Nacht durch gefeiert, obwohl das im Mitvertrag ausgeschlossen wird - wird aber wohl nicht kontrolliert. Ok - das ist wohl der Lage geschuldet.
Die Lage ist gut und zentral.
