It felt very safe and was in walking distance to many restaurants and attractions within Barcelona. The property is beautiful and has great decor. Once you arrive you have to sign a contract stating that you will not allow anyone not on the reservation into the apartment which made it difficult to coordinate with friends from home we were meeting in the city. There is also a very strict no alcohol policy which we didn’t love as I would like to be able to enjoy wine and beer responsibly while on vacation. We also had to clean the whole apartment before leaving (everything except for our bedding) to avoid an additional cleaning charge. Check in was easy. ##### Sarah M. It is in a commercial building with an elevator, but that wasn't a problem for us. I recommend guests request that both beds be made up. I have light sensitivity when I sleep, so I would've preferred to have the other bed, in the darker of the two rooms, made for the mornings I wanted to sleep in. Everything was clean and as described, lovely designs and perfectly situated in central Barcelona with lots of shops, restaurants and parks around. The Arc the Triumps is right across the street and La Barcelonetta beach is just a short taxi ride. Although in the heart of the city the apartment is very quiet!
