Our building has a concierge who will open the apartment door for guests upon arrival. In order for our guests to find their way around the apartment, I have created a video check-in procedure. After a reservation has been made, I will send a link to a video showing instructions. Once guests have checked in, I will call the phone in the apartment to answer possible questions. The Paseo de Gracia D apartment is a lovely completely renovated 1 bedroom apartment in a beautifully maintained building located on Barcelona’s wealthiest avenue Passeig de Gracia, just a view meters from the main square Placa de Catalunia, the center core of Barcelona. The gothic quarter and Las Ramblas are only a stone throw from the apartment. From the moment that you walk into the beautiful marble entrance of this in 1890 constructed building, you will be completely captivated. This fantastic apartment has light parquet flooring throughout; the quality of the furnishings and tasteful decoration gives the apartment a wonderfully modern and elegant look... it has been refurbished to a high standard and this is very apparent as you walk in the front door. The living room comes with a comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs. This is the perfect spot to sit back in and relax; TV, DVD, all the appliances are top-notch making this a luxurious apartment. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double bed for the 3rd and 4th guest in one easy movement. The spacious private terrace with table and chairs for 4 people plus 2 sun chairs is reachable from the living room. Orientation is south, perfect for sun hungry travelers. Even during sunny winter days, this terrace is a plus as pretty much covered from the wind. There is also a dining table inside the apartment which appears to be a desk to work on but can be easily converted and offers space for 4 guests to enjoy a meal. The main bedroom comes with a double bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom tastefully done in marble with bath/shower and fresh towels, soap, and shampoo ready for use on arrival. Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. All appliances are top brands. At the guests disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of this elegant building and gets reached by using the glass elevator. The building's community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance. We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here. So far we manage three apartments in this beautifully maintained building (Paseo de Gracia C, D, and E) and have the gorgeous Casa Verdu apartment just around the corner. It was in a nice location, just down the street from Casa Batlo, and close to a grocery store also. We walked all through the city from here. The apartment facilities are perfect and the video tutorials/document book are brilliant to help with the usage.Marcel was extremely kind and patient with all my queries since the time of booking and even though we couldn't meet bin person, his detailed instructions and email made up for it. Perfect and wonderful stay for us with a young kid and the week spent here is arguably the best vacation we have had. Appartement très propre, bien équipé et bien situé (la majorité des attractions sont accessibles à pied ou en court trajet de métro). L'appartement est au 6ième étage d'un bel immeuble avec ascenseur et concierge. Station de métro Passeig de Gracia tout près, de même qu'une épicerie sur la Rambla (Carrefour) ou encore au sous-sol du grand magasin El Corte Ingles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse privée donnant sur la cour pour prendre les repas, ainsi que la présence d'une laveuse et d'une sécheuse sur place. Le lit est confortable. La Rambla est à 10 minutes de marche. Aussi disponible dans l'appartement: liste de bonnes adresses et de conseils sur Barcelone, de même que de courtes vidéos sur internet expliquant le fonctionnement des appareils ménagers. Ein Kritikpunkt sind für uns die harten Sonnenliegen, die leider auch keine verstellbaren Rückenlehnen haben. Und die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer ist leider auch nicht so gemütlich zum Schlafen. Hier müsste die Matratze ausgetauscht werden. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super zentral und lädt zum Shoppen und Bummeln ein. Auch konnten wir all unsere Ziele fußläufig erreichen. Wer nicht so gut zu Fuß unterwegs ist, für den besteht aber auch problemlos die Möglichkeit, den Bus oder die Metro zu benutzen, die schnell und gut zu erreichen sind. Die Wohnung verfügt über zahlreiche Infomaterialien über die Stadt und der Concierge des Hauses hat auch jederzeit gerne hilfreich Auskunft gegeben.
