Apartment had everything we needed, owner thought through every little detail. Location is perfect, walk distance to a lot of attractions and restaurants. The only thing, keep in mind if traveling with kids, it does get really loud from people parting on the streets at night, so kids who can't use ear plugs and are not deep sleepers, it could get a little frustrating. It’s one of those rare places that is better than the photos. David, the host, was prompt, detailed, and very helpful in communications. The location of this apartment is superb, close to major attractions and in a safe area of the city. There is a supermarket very close to the apartment, which makes getting groceries very easy. There was a nice basket of treats awaiting us when we arrived, and the apartment has a great kitchen with all of the amenities needed. There were five adults in our group, and we all had ample space. The beds are also very comfortable. The host, David, was easy to communicate with and very responsive, and he also helped us with a few travel logistics, which was very appreciated. It is right on a bustling intersection with shops and restaurants so made eating easy after full days of walking around Barcelona. It is one block off the main straight that bisects Barcelona so we were able to walk everywhere and really take in the city. We had one issue with the hot water, but he walked us through how to reset it. It’s an older building and the air conditioner was hard at work since it was very hot there. Air was only in the living room and hall. The neighborhood bars were a little noisy, but nothing earplugs couldn’t fix.
