The kitchen is small but perfectly outfitted. Our host left us exactly the right number of coffee pods for the Nespresso machine which worked perfectly. The deck is the highlight of the apartment, looking over the rooftops at the Montjuic. It is a lovely spot to sit any time of day, but especially in the morning with coffee, or the evening as the moon rises and the lights go on on top of Montjuic. The bathroom is small and a little cramped, and it can be a little dicey getting into the shower, through the tiny space between the toilet and the wall, but it's doable and the shower is very good. We loved it. There is a great coffee/sandwich/pastry shop around the corner where we had breakfast daily. It was reasonably priced and the iberian ham, brie, tomato and lettuce sandwiches were wonderful. The coffee there is great too and everyone who works there is friendly. Really a great place to start your day. Also, the apartment is around the corner from the Funicular to Montjuic, as well as the major streets that lead to many major sites.
