Right in the center of Barcelona, ​​in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, surrounded by an infinity of gastronomic and cultural offerings, a few steps from the Boquería Market and the Liceu, the famous Opera of the city, the port of Barcelona and the beaches of the Barceloneta, medieval monuments such as the Cathedral or Santa María del Mar, modernist monuments such as Palau Güell, the Picasso museum or the MACBA are just a short walk away. Our apartments combine the classicism of a building over 120 years old with a modern, functional design and with all the comforts: equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, large double bed with viscoelastic mattress, parquet floors, air conditioning, television, etc. . The building has an elevator but you have to climb about 20 steps from the street so it is not recommended for people with mobility problems. For this reason and because we do not have everything necessary for them, we do not accept children under 2 years of age or people with mobility problems. The neighborhood is lively, bustling, full of life and tourism, the bars and restaurants are open until late, which means that some nights there can be noise in the street. Carles was terrific. He was up from that it would get noisy but we would much rather have a bit of noise and get to stay in such a wonderful location. This unit is only a few steps to the main square and boulevard. The selection of food and entertainment is vast. The unit was clean with lots of storage and a functional kitchen, though we never used it. Food for every meal was just steps away. Also close to subway and buses. Can’t say enough about this place. If noise bothers you then bring a white noise machine or use your speaker to do one of the many white noise apps. Truly a great find for us. We would stay there again when we return. ##### Gary G. We could walk to everything and catch the sea breezes. Easy check-in and great communication from the host. Not fancy but clean, comfortable, reliable WiFi, A/C, and utilities. The windows block the street noise surprisingly well though you may want earplugs if you have sensitive hearing. Be prepared to climb a few stairs and don't bring too much luggage--the lift is tiny. ##### Susie A. The location of this property simply can't be beat! Right off the La Ramblas/Gothic area. EVERYTHING is a stone's throw away--restaurants, tapas bars, the market, a wonderful square (Placa Reial), historic attractions, transportation--it has it all. The property was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Please note that because of the superb location, it can get a little noisy. For us, this was an easy trade-off. They also have an elevator (but you do have to walk up the first flight of stairs). We will definately stay again. ##### Sharry H.
