"The place isn’t perfect by any means but you know what that’s a hell of a lot better than what it used to be around the two hotels at once it’s crazy but you definitely get your bang for your buck there have an outstanding breakfast they got a pool I mean what more you need?"

"Very nice updated motel. Room was very clean and pleasant. The location was convenient to the downtown area shops and restaurants. It also is across the street from the river and we saw a couple boats come in. The young man that checked us in and also was there this morning at checkout was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area, he gave us some great tips. It’s very refreshing to see a person who likes their job and is good at it!"

"Newly remodeled. The interior felt brand new. As I walked around the back and side of the building, I could see it was in need of some maintenance. There was a nice sized yard in back where you could let the kids or your dog run around and play. There was a poop bag dispenser. We did not have our dog with us. Convenient location. Breakfast was as expected. Nothing much offered if you eat vegan. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had an amazing time staying at Ruthie's Cottage. Check-in was super easy and there were so many little extras available in case we forgot anything (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, mouthwash, makeup remover wipes, etc). You can see the water and boats from the front porch, but there are also chairs available right at the waters edge to enjoy the view even more. (You will need to walk between a few houses to get to the chairs so watch out for goose poop and dog poop.) The sunrise is a must see but remember the grass is very wet early in the morning. We will be back again next year for our girls weekend and hopefully make this an annual trip."
