Vintage building and structure in excellent condition. Clean, updated rooms done very tastefully and comfortably. One request - a coffeemaker (and coffee) in the rooms. A great value lodging that looks all but new.

This was a great stop along our color tour of the U.P. This motel could not have been cleaner. The beds were comfortable. Parking right outside our door. Staff friendly and helpful with tips of where to dine. Convenient to everything downtown including the locks. Highly recommend.

The Last Resort is a welcoming space that we used as a home base for our trip to Sault Ste. Marie. The newly renovated rooms are very nice and staff there is great!! We'd definitely stay again on our next visit.

The rooms were clean, the bed was super comfy & the shower was hot! I would definitely stay here again. The only issue I had, was our curtains cover the ac unit. I just tucked them up. I would recommend this place over and over again!

We decided to stay here based off of the incredible reviews, and I can honestly say, they did not disappoint! The rooms are clean and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable - even for those with chronic bad backs. The staff was always friendly and VERY helpful. The grounds are clean, and the parking is easy. The resort is very well lit and easy to find, and it's the soo, so everything is within an easy distance. VERY well priced. They were very accommodating for our late arrival. I couldn't say enough to explain how great of a stay this was. We will be returning to say the least!

The Last Resort is an excellent place to stay. There were many charging ports for all our electronics. All of them worked!! Our room was sparkling clean with updated furniture and decor. The entire facility is well maintained. Office staff were friendly and helpful. I highy recommend The Last Resort.

Love the mom and pop motels! This place is clean, quiet, cheap and an easy drive to the Soo locks and local restaurants. Check in was fast and simple, the motel was busy while we were there and parking is tight, but it all worked out.

Very nice updated motel. Room was very clean and pleasant. The location was convenient to the downtown area shops and restaurants. It also is across the street from the river and we saw a couple boats come in. The young man that checked us in and also was there this morning at checkout was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area, he gave us some great tips. It’s very refreshing to see a person who likes their job and is good at it!
