About this property

The Garden Room at the Lafayette Inn

  • Lafayette Inn Downtown Bar Harbor with off street parking! Enjoy this beautiful room for 2 within walking distance to everything and only a short ride to Acadia National Park or the rest of Mount Desert Island. Lafayette National Park predates Acadia National Park but only enjoyed the name for a decade before it officially became Acadia in 1929. Enjoy the gorgeous spans of untouched land while hiking/biking trails and carriage roads, visiting beaches, rock climbing, boating and more.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
The hosts were very communicative and even provided a huge list of activities and recommendations for the area! The location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to everything. It was a reasonable price and very comfortable.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Room was clean and comfortable, fantastic location, streaming services were a nice touch. Communication was okay, were responsive but mostly nit timely. Did respond quickly when needed a blanket. The offer for early check in, late check out for a 35 fee was odd, have never come across that. The pictures are nicer than the actual place. Needs some tlc. There’s no garden view from the garden room. There’s no garden at all. One thermostat for whole house. Might not work for everyone. Very appreciative to have found the room at last minute. Thank you.
