The renovations to the home added a great modern touch to the best mid century modern feel of the rest of the house. We were able to walk directly to the trailhead of Beehive, sand beach, thunder hole, and so many other spots along the coast of Acadia. The views were incredible, the stars were insane at night, and everything was just as perfect as we imagined it would be. We even had 3 different cab drivers ask us for the listing because they were so impressed by the house and the location! The setting is breathtaking. We enjoyed getting to walk out on the Rocky Beach, sit by the fire and roast s’mores, enjoy being together. The house is so close to Schooner overlook and anemone cave. We could not have been more pleased with the location. As mentioned, the inside of the house is a bit dated, but it is spacious and had room for all of us to sleep. I would suggestsheets for the pullout sofa easier to locate, and possibly providing more bath towels. Although, we also said we would come back to this property again. ##### Laura K.
