10/10 Excellent
"Room was perfect, looked out over the river, beautifully cleaned each day. Staff were extremely helpful and hard working. The car park was always available, easy walking distance and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing, anything that anyone could want. It was easy walking distance from the city centre along the river bank, with great views and local wildlife on display."

"We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the Ferrycarrig Hotel. The view from our room and the bar was fantastic. I happily had my coffee looking out over the River Slaney. I think it's a place where one could easily spend a few relaxing days. The food in the Dry Dock Bar was lovely. There are a number of beaches within easy reach."

"The room was very comfortable, clean and we appreciated the electric tea pot, teas and cups. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are separate from the bar and away from the street so you are protected from the noise. We had a glass of wine at the bar before retiring. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance in the bar."

8/10 Good
"I asked in advance months ahead of my visit for a walk in shower as got mobility problems and one was not made available. … very disappointed as gave them plenty of time to provide one, hence unable to shower prior to a family wedding. My visit was split and second half was provided with walk in shower, appreciated but couple days late. How much notice does one have to give ??"
