"The staff was excellent and accommodating. The rooms were very nice, looked newly renovated. It was quiet and clean. Easy access to Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain and other towns. Perfect stay!"

"This was a great stay for us while going to a concert at Beech! The only downside was the fact that there wasn't any A/C but it is cooler on the mountain. The facility is dated but was really clean."

"Property was fantastic! Very well stocked kitchen, nice size and great value for the price. Fantastic location! Super easy to walk to some restaurants and bars. Super close to Beech Mountain! We had a fantastic time!We were there over 4th of July and it was so easy to walk to the adjoining park for fireworks. We downhill mountain biked at beech mountain and it was super convenient to get there."

"Location to Grandfather Mountain was great. A/C was great. Kitchen does not have some basic utensils and is not fully supplied (as advertised) - fortunately there is a Food Lion nearby where we bought what should have been supplied. Sofa and chairs did not feel clean and we put a sheet over the sofa. Beds and bed linens were good and clean. But, great place to have a family get-together to attend the nearby Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain."

"An absolutely adorable rental for our quick (2 night) mountain get-away. This house was clean and cozy, and the hosts thought of everything their guests might need. (adults, children & 4-legged furry family members). The book filled with recommendations for area restaurants and attractions was incredibly thoughtful and thorough. We wished our stay had been longer. Wonderful hosts and very well run VRBO."
