Lots of cozy Mountain Vibes at this place. We loved the living area and kitchen close together with a screened door that allowed the crisp fall air to blow in. The porches are well covered so even when we had rain we were able to sit outside with a blanket and enjoy the views. There were plenty of small tables for drinks, devices, books, etc. and charging cords so we were really able to settle in and be at home away from home. Smart TV's enabled lots of streaming services. The kitchen had just enough for us to be able to enjoy our coffee and cozy up each cool morning. Also, we were able to hunker down in the remnant of a tropical storm and have a cozy day of watching football while making chili and a batch of brownies. There was a small dishwasher that made clean up a breeze! The master bedroom/bathroom was so nice and spacious. The updated bathroom (with heated floors) was super nice and everything was clean and comfy. We were a little surprised that the home did not have central AC. There is a window unit on the upstairs floor and that, along with the screened door opened, kept it comfy. There was some humidity and tropical air with the rain storms we experienced and the downstairs bedroom was somewhat stuffy, the ceiling fan helped a little. We had a little trouble communicating with the host leading up to our stay due to a technical issue that we were unaware of, but once we got that cleared up they were awesome and super easy to communicate with.
