After we checked out of the apartment the owner tried to get us to pay a big cleaning bill. We felt she was being unreasonable. We did have a small dog in the apartment that a friend brought over for a couple hours not knowing that pets are not allowed in the apartment. As soon as we found out the dog was not allowed the dog was removed and never return to the premises. We felt the owner was unreasonable and tried to use this slight infraction to extort money from us. The apartment was only marginally clean and needed a deep cleaning before we arrived as her guests and she tried to bill us for this deep cleaning that was needed anyway.
