This property is old, run-down and poorly maintained. The location is down a poorly light side ally. No elevators at the property. The stairs to upper floors are very steep and difficult to navigate. The bed was very hard to sleep on. The mattress was extremely thin, and you could feel the wooden box frame pressing against your body when sleeping. This hotel is down a narrow alley way in the Nana nightlife district. I took the train from the Airport and got off at Nana at 11.30 p.m. Took a tuk-tuk to the hotel but the driver could not find it and went in circles. He finally found the dead end alley and with baggage in tow I treaded down the alley. There is absolutely no signage for this hotel. I did see a sign for White Orchid Inn 2 and the person there directed me to the White Orchid next door. Be ready to haul your baggage up the narrow stairs as there is no elevator. Fortunately the air-conditioner worked. There are lots of bars and food nearby. This cheap place is tolerable for a one night stay or stop over.
