They washed the bathrooms and throw out the trash everyday unlike some hostels that I have been to. Love their breakfast with toasted thick toast and yogurt. I actually asked for a second helping on the remaining 3 days of my stay. They have nice hammocks, bean bags on level 1 for chilling and a nice air-conditioned room for playing games or watching tv on second level. The accommodation is container style and hence, at times, you'll hear heavy footsteps on the metal flooring. This was one of my all-time favorite hostels - and I stay at many! As soon as you enter The Yard, you are welcomed as family. There is such a sense of community; everyone having breakfast or beers in the yard, laying on the hammock, taking the free yoga class. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well laid out. I loved the indoor/outdoor vibe. Great AC in the rooms. Loved how environmentally-friendly they are as well. Fell in love with the Ari neighborhood! Be among real locals and also many cutesy coffee shops and even rooftop bars within walking distance. Free bikes to borrow to explore. My only complaint was that my stay was too short!
