However, you need to know that we could not sleep here because it was way too loud at night. The windows have gaps which allow street noise to enter. It was so bad that we attempted to move rooms (stupid since all of the rooms have the same windows), but we couldn’t get anyone to help us for two hours in the morning even though there were 10 or so employees in the restaurant connected to the hotel. It was very frustrating and the hotel clerk wasn’t even apologetic when we checked out two days early. Room was clean and great location. If you can sleep through anything, this is a great place for you. This hotel is neat and clean. Only down side is there is no elevator to 2nd and 3rd floors. We had to carry our bags because the girl at the reception was not strong enough. Reception was helpful to arrange drivers to elephant sanctuaries and Pattaya. I recommend this area by the Palace. It is far from the red light districts and crazy bar areas. You can walk around this are at night without too much hassle from vendors and taxi drivers.
