The beds were super comfortable and the whole place had a cute, calming aesthetic with orchids in bloom. The only downside was the wet-room bathroom — the shower leaked and left the floor wet longer than ideal. The location is perfect: a quiet street but steps from great restaurants, shops, and Old City attractions. We visited the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Khaosan Road, went shopping, got a massage and took a nap — all in one day. We had a wonderful stay at The Orchid House. The service was excellent, super friendly and very helpful. When we checked in the room had two single beds, we asked about a double and they were fully booked. We came back from a day out in Bangkok to find that they had turned our two singles into a very large double bed. Room had a big wet room and was cleaned daily (if you want). Fridge with cold water in glass bottles (which you will be very grateful for) and AC.
