Says it all really. Friendly and helpful staff. Tell reception before 11am if you want room cleaned that day. Super shower. Firm bed. I was 5 floor road facing. Great view to bridge. There is traffic and noise does travel up but it is more a cut-through then a main road. At 7am there is a car w loudspeakers coming around, twice. We stayed here for one night before our flight back home. A few nights prior, we had stayed at another hotel/hostel that was around the same price point a few blocks away. The area surrounded Royal 8 Ville, was a little dodgy-er. Things I wish the hotel had (because they are available at other hotels at the same price point) are: fridge in the room (Thailand is very hot and having cold water in the room is a huge plus), more bottled water, and better breakfast options. The hostel itself was really clean and looked to be pretty new!
