The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful in giving directions and suggesting things to see and do. My room was clean and comfortable with easy access. I felt safe in the surrounding area. The hotel is on a short ally off a Main Street in Chinatown. In the day time it is business as usual but at night the street is a new experience. I did not appreciate its activities until my last night in town and was sorry I didn’t have more time to explore the immediate area. During the day I took a bus, a minute’s walk from the hotel, to the Grand Palace area where I did tours and shows. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom, as though there was no trap on the shower drain. The floor under the beds had not been cleaned in a long time. Service was great.
