We misunderstood the meal times and arrived too late and they kindly booked a taxi and meal for us at another vegan restaurant which was amazing! The rooftop has a laundry and sun beds with river views. The train station is a short walk away. Ligging voelt wat afgelegen, maar metro op 5 minuten lopen, 50 ct tot 1 euro voor trip, en met scooter (grab, € 1.50) 2.5 km van khao san road. Breakfast was delicious and complimented with a delightful cup of freshly brewed coffee from the espresso machine. Don’t be put off because it looks far from transport. Taxis are easy to get and cheap. Buses even cheaper. The new Bangkhunkon MRT station opening March 2020 is five minutes walk away. Staying on Sukhumvit you’re staying in touristland. Stay here and you’re in Thailand.
