I came with 3 kids- which was probably my bad on Khaosan Road, but our room was so loud (like sooooo loud- we can handle inconveniences, this was like being next to a speaker in a night club). So we moved on the second night at 2am. We had to split into two rooms, and they were MUCH quieter, but still not quiet. This property is best suited for a backpacker type traveller who is up for 5pm to 5am parties. The blaring music is audible from your hotel room and goes on until 4am so be prepared for that. But if chaotic, fascinating, loud and relentless is your thing then it’s the place to stay. There’s a pool on the roof if you want to take a break from it all and cool off from the sun and humidity. Also as one local explained this Hotel is Thai Style..so if you don't like your mattress on floor and toilet and shower in same spot than this is not your place..but if you like to live more local style great choice.. Nice pool on roof with swim up bar also just regular bar on roof that serves drinks and food. Also area as alot of shops and stands, bars, clubs, restaurants and even a 7/11 across the street.
