Location is within walking distance of three minor temples. Staff is very gracious, competent, and attentive. We had Room 0 in the crows nest. It had the largest wooden tub I've ever seen! Certainly fit for 2\. The real star of this location is the cafe. Best Americano coffee I've ever had and best American breakfast I've ever had. Yogurt is home made and waffles are fantastic. 5 stars for the coffee, scrambled eggs, waffles, and yogurt. Bed on the ground and an area to watch TV upstairs which would have been nice however we were only here for 1 night and did not spend much time in the room, only to sleep and shower. Room was cosy, but because the building is quite old, and tall the stairs are quite steep and it can feel a bit noisy if people are moving up and down the stairs coming back later on at night. Our room was at the top of the first flight of stairs so maybe this was why it felt quite ‘busy’. This should not put people off as it was not massively intrusive just noticeable. We did not have the breakfast so I cannot review this element. I would probably only stay here 1-2 nights max due to the make up of the building and room. It’s definitely made for little people. Location was excellent, walkable to Wat Pho, and the Palace. We also walked to the Rajadamnern May Thai Stadium from here to watch the fights, and the Kho San Road is 4-5 minutes walk away. This is a unique little hotel, with lots of charm and character.
