The staff have all worked there for decades and the bar is the best place in Bangkok to have a nice meal and tip a beverage with many great regulars in the city. It is super easy to grab a cab and dart off to the airport on a early morning departure and its also close to the BTS. I have stayed there dozens of times and it’s just a great place. Owners are always available and accommodating. Convenient and low cost. But I may not return because their pillows are rock hard and huge. I literally had a sore neck the entire following day from sleeping there. The next morning I asked staff about pillow options and was told no. So I recommend you either bring your own pillow or schedule a massage for the following morning.
