If you want to avoid the noisy area of Sukhumvit and stay in a nice , clean and peaceful area of Bangkok then Silom is the place. there are lot of nice dining options nearby and the property is closely located to the shopping malls near Pratunam. We didn’t even know they served lunch and paid barely anything for some of the best Thai food ever. Staff were helpful, rooms are quaint and clean. We started off in a very small room but we’re still happy. Added an extra night and all that was available was the larger room with a balcony. Would 100% recommend those rooms. Spacious, bright and full of character. Only negatives were the lighting at night (one of our party tripped and hurt their knee) and the size of the pool. It’s a very tiny pool. Hot tub sized but cold. About a 7 minute walk to BTS Surasak and 10 minute walk to Phaya river. Overall, this old mansion was soundproof with a beautiful renovated bathroom.
