This hotel is convenient if you need to be in the Ratchada area of Bangkok. It's a 5 minute walk to the MRT station (Rama 9), Central Plaza and Fortune Town shopping malls. It's only 2 stops from Sukhumvit (Asoke) station, so only about 15-20 minutes from the hotel. It's also on Rama 9 Rd, which makes it fast and convenient if coming from and going to the airport (Suvarnabhumi) by taxi.
The rooms are big, but with questionable layout and furniture (no proper table/desk). The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too thick and stiff (ask room cleaning to see and check different pillows). The bathroom was good with plenty of hot water pressure. There are the usual amenities (mini-fridge, hot water kettle, hair dryer) but curiously no tea/coffee packets.
I didn't try breakfast or any meal at the hotel.
The immediate neighborhood can be noisy sometimes (as in ALL of BKK), it's a luck of the draw if you can sleep in late here.
The one factor that lets the hotel down is the internet. In my last 5 years of travel in Asia, I don't remember such bad internet connection in any other place. It's only wi-fi and the connection would drop every 3-5 minutes! Once connected you can expect 1 mbps speed. So you can forget about skype calls here. However, you can use 2 desktop computers at the lobby which have a LAN connection. They are aware of the problem and they were going to upgrade their system this week. So my rating is based on that assumption.
