Originally built for a fisherman and his family, Seabreeze Cottage has been tastefully restored to a high standard, offering stylish interiors, modern amenities, and all the charm you’d expect from a historic Scottish village by the sea. The Charm of Gardenstown Gardenstown, or "Gamrie," was founded in 1720 by Alexander Garden and remains a working fishing village steeped in tradition. With its winding streets, colourful cottages, and stunning sea views, Gardenstown is a peaceful escape with a strong sense of community and history. Just a short walk away is the ruined St John’s Church and Churchyard, dedicated to St John the Evangelist. The church, overlooking the sandy beach, dates back to at least the 11th century, with the east end built in the early 1500s and the remainder in the 1600s. Gardenstown Harbour The quaint Gardenstown Harbour is the heart of the village’s fishing heritage, home to working fishing boats that continue the village’s centuries-old maritime traditions.
