We love the Red Carpet for our winter ski trips. It’s always super affordable and the superior kind/queen rooms are really cool. Vaulted ceilings, comfy beds and if you’re lucky, a balcony with mountain views. It doesn’t have the big fancy lobby and amenities like some of the other much pricier hotels in Banff but, we like to go out and about in Banff so, this cool clean little spot is perfect for us. Easy walking distance to downtown and free parking. Can’t beat the price vs quality on this one.

The room was very spacious and we had lots of windows. Thankfully, because the room was incredibly stuffy when we got in there, after we aired it out, everything was fine. The beds were comfy, and it was very close to everything we wanted to see. There was also a very long balcony that I wasn’t aware of as well when booking!

The staff we dealt with were very polite. The property was great for walking through downtown Banff. Parking was easily accessible. Rooms were clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a balcony looking out over the mountains. Did not use hot tub, but looked in and if we had stayed longer would have happily used it. Had breakfast at the on site restaurant and it was great (an actual restaurant $) very good value and would happily stay again
