    The Space:

    At Ocean Vista Cottage, you will have spectacular unobstructed water views and marvel at the beautiful sunsets and wonderful rock formations. This beautiful and dog-friendly home is nestled on a bluff overlooking the untamed Pacific Ocean. The walk to the beach will take just a minute or two - you will be sharing the beach with aquatic birds and occasionally a seal. Alternatively, curl up with a book in the living room while you relax by a warm fire.



    What's nearby:

    Downtown Bandon is a short and convenient two and a half mile-drive and there you can find a plethora of dining options (seafood, pizza, Asian food, Mexican food, etc.), markets and convenience stores, and more! This charming city is also well-known for its historic lighthouse and the highly-acclaimed golf courses you can find at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (eight miles away). You can find even more outdoor activities by the coastline that include horseback riding on the beach, fishing, crabbing, etc.

Wonderful view. Simple, clean, good location. We've stayed there before and will stay there again. But when my phone died the day before our stay, trying to communicate with the (desktop) chatbot or whatever was a nightmare. When I did finally have access to a phone, the customer service agent (a person) was very helpful.

If it was based on the view it would be 10! However, turning away from the windows there's some needs. Some basic upkeep i.e. toilet seat, toilet plungers are your view when sitting in the toilet, sitting next to the dirty tub mats - contamination. The info notebook is not the existing company, and not current. The TV needs explicit instructions re: the correct input, what remotes to use, labeled remotes, and one of them the back battery cover fell off all the time. The ramp mat to the front door is torn and tattered...not a good first impression. The recliners are dirty as are the pillows. Few cans of paint, update and some love would give the 5....the host seems to be resting on the laurels of the fantastic view.

Wonderful place to stay if you’re looking to just sit back and relax and watch the waves. Amazing view, very clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen. Boards games, movies and puzzles if you need entertainment.

Birthday Weekend For Mom

This is our second visit to this property. The location is unbeatable, the furnishings/kitchen are modest but very functional. It was nice to see the update if the new shower in the bathroom. Would definitely stay again!

The house was perfect. Great view of the ocean. Easy and close access to the beach. Close to downtown. The house was very clean and cozy. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Home just off the beach

I loved the views from this home. Everything was clean and came with toiletries that was nice. The short walk to the beach was easy walking down a gravel road to the sand. Very peaceful and relaxing will definitely want to come again.

Bandon beach getaway

Older property that is clean. It just has the basics, for the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Need to upgrade the TV subscription. The location is terrific and it is pet friendly.

It's all about the view!

We continue to go back to stay here since we love the view, and our dogs are used to the house now. The walk to the beach is a convenient one. It's an older home, but everything is in working order.
