"This place was nothing like what was shown in its ad. It was highly overpriced for the accommodations. I cannot even begin to list all the negative things about this place.

"Location is great but the place is unfortunately poorly maintained.
Rooms are ok but bathroom was dirty. Closet broken as well as rack for hanging towels.
Pool has a spectacular view but extremely limited opening hours. Breakfast very basic.
Be aware of mosquitoes, there are a lot!"
"First, I really impressed the staffs. They’re very helpful and friendly. Room is clean enough for the price but a little smell because from water flooded before. Not much amenities but reasonable price. It’s better for solo or couples travel. Not family because mosquito still around. "

"Nak Nakara is a very nice hotel, reasonably priced and has a great pool (though we were there during rainy season and only got to enjoy it for a couple of brief spells). The breakfast buffet was terrific, with a separate "egg station" that prepared omelettes, other types of eggs, and pancakes and waffles. (My only wish would have been to add mushrooms to the omelette choices, but the omelettes were done nicely.) A very friendly staff, and though our booking was originally for one night, we decided we liked the place well enough to add a second night, which I booked at the front desk and even got a bit of a discount (equal to about 400 baht) off what the first night cost. We come to Chiang Rai often enough that we'd definitely consider staying at Nak Nakara again."
"La Patta is a very nice hotel, clean and in excellent condition. The staff are super friendly and nice. Their breakfast is great. They also offer free of charge drinks and snack, coffee and sandwiches after 1 PM. It is in great location. You can go to the walking street on the weekend in a minute walk. The night market is also close. I highly recommend it. "
