Find Spa Hotels in Balule Game Reserve

Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms and real sense of luxury. The pool and grounds are so tranquil and calm and everything is immaculate The staff are attentive and professional and the setting is beautiful with giraffe and zebra roaming around - so lovely. The restaurant is gorgeous. The only tiny bit of feedback is that the restaurant staff got things a bit confused for us and forgot some of the food and got the courses mixed up so the children got their main courses while the adults were...

Real bush experience can spot leopards relatively easily, lovely options for activities in terms of game drives in other private reserves and activities like star gazing tours. Lovely place, lovely staff and the owner goes out of her way to accommodate all requirements.

We spent one night at Mohlabetsi two years ago on a 7 day trip round South Africa. My family didn't want to leave but we always had in our minds to return to this very special place. This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!

Our bedroom quiet with a nice mountain view from our terrace. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The reception and restaurant staff that we met were helpful and friendly. There were landscaped gardens throughout the hotel plus plenty of parking.

This Safari camp massively exceeded all expections from arrival till the day we had to leave. All members of staff were highly knowledgeable, My partner and i learnt so much and we was very sad to leave.

My wife and I had a fabulous time spent at Nyati. Arranged collection from Hoedspruit airport and on arrival at the lodge a lovely welcome and drink then shown to our luxury tent. A stunning view from the balcony of our tent overlooking the river and able to see hippos and crocodile. Game drives were excellent and rangers all very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is amazing and thoroughly enjoyed breakfast , lunch and dinner and the wines served were also very good with the evening meal....

Wonderful place, Rangers, trackers and staff. Excellent food in terms of quality and choice and lovely wines / beers. Loved every minute and would love to return again. Been to other ( more expensive) camps in the area and this one is much more relaxed and enjoyable.

This was an absolutely stellar experience! The staff at the lodge were truly wonderful, thoughtful and always ready to help. And the pool was fantastic, situated right next to the watering hole where you could relax and watch wildlife. The food was exceptional, and each meal came with a thoughtful wine pairing. With two game drives a day. Our guide Prem had eagle eyes. The exta bonus evening drive was a nice touch. The entire experience was simply unforgettable. Can’t recommend it highly...

A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge. This place is unbelievable. I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them. The team are AMAZING, Azaria and Milton, our ranger and tracker were unbelievable and so committed to help us track down what we wanted. Kulani the waiter was an absolute delight. Not a single day did I ever see him not smiling. The housekeeping team would make the rooms up three times a...

Exceptional service, design and game drives. One of the best hotels we have experienced! Highly recommended it is impossible to be disappointed.

Everything was exceptional! The room was beautiful and clean, every single staff member was so friendly and helpful! The facilities were great, the food was delicious and the safari was just amazing!

Amazing experience. Staff were very hospitable. The game drives were also really cool. Our ranger, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure that we saw all the animals on our list. Overall great experience.

I should preface this review by saying that I am a professional wildlife photographer. I have stayed at dozens of safari lodges both expensive high-end and ‘budget’, all over Southern and East Africa. The Blyde River Canyon Lodge is great. While not exactly a safari lodge as such (it’s not in a true wildlife park) the architectural style is very ‘safari chic’ using a lot of local natural materials and thatched roofing. It is very close to the ‘Panorama Route Drive’ and the spectacular Blyde...

From check in to check out this was a fabulous stay. Food was amazing and served in the wonderful Boma area. Devin as host was great, incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora and also great with ideas for local trips. Brilliant morning walk before moving on. We had 2 nights here chilling before headinginto kruger and would recommend it to anyone.
