The Darcy is a good hotel located in a prime area. My only objection, and that is why I don't give five stars, is that it charges an amenity fee of about $40 per day that is not necessary. You have to pay the fee even if you don't use it. For example, it offers a drink during happy hour, but if you are not in the hotel at that time, you can't redeem it later at night. It feels like an added mandatory fee that increases the price of each night's stay. The daily rate seems low at this location, but once you add the amenity fee, it matches other, more expensive hotels in the area.
