"Beautiful hotel. Good mix of traditional and contemporary"

Cozy family villa at the Mar Menor Golf Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We have just spent a week in this villa and it was very much a home from home. It had everything we could need. I also want to thank Laura for making it possible to check-in to the villa early, that was a great help. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be back."

Apartment with balcony and pool views

8/10 Good

"You need to have a car to stay at the resort its huge. The locking mechanisim on the door locks the inside but no key. Only outside you can open with the key, but it drains battery quick and needs charging over night, so you can get out. Which requires a specific charge connection. Lock box would be better. Dont lock yourself on balcony, no handle to open it from the exterior. We got locked out on it ...but thankfully front door to appartment didnt lock, so someone could gain access to let us in.It was clean and new, but not much going on for time of year. Still a bit of building work. Apartment was very nice and had space. Everything you need in kitchen. Tv n couch area fine. Bed was hard in a way I just couldnt sleep, nor my partner. Couldnt figure out how the ceilig fan turned on in the bedroom. Although air con worked fine. A normal mattress could enhance the experiance of the stay. Pool area lovely too. And clean. More wifi needed around the lagoon area. Beach hut was shut a lot. The strip by the golf resort is great but far to walk all the time. Car needed for that. Taxis not too easy to get hold of and can be expensive. We had a nice stay but just not much atmosphere at the resort club resturaunt n information not about to say whats what. Waiting time for drinks and tatas bravas to take back to the lagoon because beach hut shut took nearly 2 hours. My partner thought ad left him and gone back the apartment. Then after the long walk back beach no folks"

Ground Floor Corner Apartment With Terrace & Pool. Views To Golf Course & Hills

10/10 Excellent

"Second visit. Apartment was again spotless. Appliances are all top class. Great fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. Pool so close and very well maintained. Resort stunning. Resort golf course looked amazing. Host communication superb and information packs very well put together. Highly recommended."

Immaculate Apartment Overlooking the Pool CEI35-5

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed here as a couple in September 2026. The property is immaculately presented with the well proportioned pool at the end of the garden. The location on the resort is excellent with the padel club and bar just on the corner. Outside the complex is the boulevard with over a dozen restaurants and bars, this is only a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended."

Ground Floor 2 Bedroom Apartment with Terrace, Garden and Pool

8/10 Good

"First of all I love Hacienda de Riquelme. My family & i have stayed there, in various apartments, probably 10 times in the last 12 years, This apartment was reasonably priced on booking, however that price then did go up and I was advised I was lucky I got it for this price as it should of been more. The apartment was in a great position, ground floor, close the pool & it was a great pool with a chair that could lower you in, If disabled. There were issues with the apartment that could be overlooked, general maintenance issues, lightbulbs missing, paint falling off ceilings and walls etc due leaks. The patio door wouldn't open as there was a bolt snapped in it & in the master bedroom the window wouldn't open for the same reason.Tiny ants everywhere, beds uncomfortable, oven door seal fell off constantly, no cleaning products, not even bags in the bins, no spare toilet roll, no disinfectant to mop floor or clean the loo, basic things we have always had in other apartments, other things too. These were all inconveniences but my main issue was that when i booked here it had bath. I am disabled & in pain all day everyday but a soak in the bath eases my muscles & joints, i can not stand in a shower & my hubby helps me to bathe in a bath. The bath had been removed,we had not been informed,i rang the owner & suggested it would of been nice to be told as i would of booked elsewhere due to my health issues & he stated he did not have to let us know & offered no solution. Unacceptable"
