"I love this hotel… we’ve been here several times. The staff was great, views are amazing, the food was good and is easy to enter, the parking, the lobby… everything was good! It’s time for some renovations… the building seems dated, and beds were kind of uncomfortable. If I’m going out of home and I have to pay, I better be sleeping in a comfortable place. "

"Our stay at La Hacienda was truly lovely! The kids loved the pool, games, volleyball, basketball, and numerous swings and hammocks on the property. It is a true retreat. The kitchen was nice with a lot of basic supplies. The outdoor kitchen was also a great plus. We did a bonfire one night and that was nice too. The beach across the street was spectacular - much better than we expected based on online reviews. We essentially had the very large beach to ourselves! The water was calm and perfect for safely swimming with the family. The beach had a large volleyball area with numerous nets as well as soccer goals. There were also lower nets for foot volley ball. The house provided a few balls, several beach chairs, and an umbrella but the beach across the street also had great “natural umbrellas” - the palm trees. One day there was a beautiful horse on the beach (had harness and tethered to a tree while owners enjoyed the beach I suppose). There were some dogs running around that had collars on but I suspected they were strays - they didn’t bother us but were always there. The area was overall very nice and quaint. We visited local spots including Rincon (great sunset), Aguadilla Crash boat beach (nice clear water for snorkeling but crowded), and Parguera for the bioluminescent bay (about an hour south). I only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This property was everything we had hoped for and more. It is nestled on a hilltop with gorgeous views of the ocean and is immaculately clean. The bed was super comfortable and the space was equipped with everything you could need and if you do need something extra, the owner was super communicative, helpful and easy to reach Check in & out instructions were easy and clear. The property was super secure and safe which is huge. My security system- electrician husband is always critiquing spaces and he was impressed/pleased! No corners cut here. The outdoor patio and pool is the perfect space and private. We will be coming back and spending much more time. Rincon and so much more is not far away, we enjoyed being off the beaten path and secluded. There is an ice machine nearby which was super helpful and nice to have. There is beautiful outside space with seating for relaxing and very cool lighting. It is the perfect space especially if you are looking for a romantic getaway. I am not a big time reviewer, I often forget to comment but this property and it's owners deserve it! This was our first time to Puerto Rico but will not be our last. We stayed at 3 different properties total, as we explored several different areas of the island and we wish we had booked this space the entire time. I did a ton of research and this listing was accurate and modest in it's description, we could not have been more pleased. Thanks for a wonderful, comfortable stay! "

"If you’re looking to spend time outside, this is an excellent choice! If you hate iguanas, don’t pick this one.We thoroughly enjoyed the yard, the multiple porches/patios, the kayaks, the hot tub and the plants! Breakfast on the river patio, lunch on the hot tub deck, dinner on the front porch, games on the back porch… iguanas and frogs (toads?) provided entertainment, in addition to birds and butterflies and the little gecko/anolls also running around. Surprisingly few bugs! About the inside- its a simple 2bedroom/1 bath main house, the other bathroom is entirely outside and is the “outside shower”, so 2 showers and 2 toilets total. A/C units in each bedroom but not the main part. The kitchen was reasonably functional with the expected random assortment of goods commonly found in a vacation rental. We regularly found not-so-clean things in the cupboards and drawers so we eventually just washed everything before we used it. I think thats probably a challenge with the cleaner instead of the host, but it wasn’t…awesome.Our challenge was that not all he advertised beds were usable. The queen was fine and the bunk beds were fine although labeled with a weight restriction of 165lbs on the top bunk. Neither the top or bottom trundle bed was usable due to missing hardware. We let the host know about the trundle beds problem and he said he would have it fixed, but if those are important to your stay, maybe double check functionality before booking. "

"We had an incredible stay at Sol's property! The house was clean, homey, and well-stocked with cooking equipment, so we were able to make several meals at home. There were also plenty of beach towels/equipment, which enabled some great beach days! The gas wasn't turned on for the stove when we arrived, but Sol quickly remedied that for us, which was much appreciated. The sunsets over the beach in our backyard were unbelievably beautiful! Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Rincon!"

"Benjamin is an excellent host and has created an awesome home away from home for visitors to Rincón and the West Coast of Puerto Rico. Stunning water views, a nice Dipping Pool and a well designed outdoor entertainment space await travelers in the hills of Rincon. The modern interior is welcoming and the trade winds created a very comfortable environment. My wife and I have been coming to vacation in Rincon for many years and we are looking forward to our extended stay at VelBELA in 2027!"

"The view was absolutely to die for. Drive up the mountain was not bad at all. Must use google maps, not apple. Location was very convenient too. The heated pool was amazing at the end of the day! My only one critique was that it was not as clean as I expect. I'm a bit of a neat freak so there were cleaning supplies i used to feel more comfortable. Also, the bed was not super comfy and only 2 pillows. Has the possibility of becoming a 5 star, with just a few extra touches. Still a great value and the viewwwwww. "
