Just a bit noisy with heavy doors continually slamming shut at night with residents going to bed. (11.30 through to 2:30) Perhaps a quieter door mechanism could be applied?

We liked this hotel as it was walking distance to town and the restaurant we were dining in was across the road. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Was woke up at 3am with guests across the landing fighting in the corridor, at one point I thought they were going to come right through my door. This went on until 5am when I eventually left the hotel and went to my vehichle to get a few hours sleep before heading to work. No staff present in hotel to stop the fighting or remove the offending guests. All hotel said on check out was sorry about that. Not happy at all.

Early check-in was quick and easy. Bedroom was clean and well presented. However, parking at the hotel was a nightmare during lunchtime. Bed was too soft for my liking and I rolled into the centre of the bed. Bedroom too warm during the night. Breakfast was self-service and basic and not very appetising. Breakfast area was cramped at busy times with guests having to queue longer than they should have.

Friendly Staff
Fantastic place to stay, rooms are warm and comfy and very clean. Food is really good and a reasonable price. great breakfast with fresh eggs and local bacon. Staff are brilliant.

25th Anniversary night away, ruined, room has a grubby carpet and skirting, spillage and dirt on skirting boards, unpleasant smell in the room and corridors. I had to strip the remake the bed as the sheet was only tucked in at bottom.of the bed, sides not tucked and sheet was about 4 inches short of the top of the bed. Had called reception about the bed sheets as i thought house keeping had forgotten to put a base sheet on . I got a call back offering to change rooms, but by this time we were in bed and were too tired to move. Breakfast was also below average, limited choice. Staff pleasant, said they would inform housekeeping of issues, sadly we will not return or can recommend this hotel.

It has character about it, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if there had been traditional Irish music playing in the background the nights that there was no live music. Otherwise excellent.

Situated right in the heart of Ballymena, the Adair Arms was a good hotel for one night as we passed through the area. The hotel is quite historic, and has been very well maintained and is beautifully decorated. We ate dinner in the restaurant. It had a good menu with lots of choices. The was plenty of free parking available.
